Save the Date: Spring Work Party Scheduled for May 19
SaraSpa's spring work party is scheduled for Saturday May 19 beginning at 8:00 am. This is our major effort to get the facilities ready for the summer shooting season. Planned jobs include replacing the target backers on the 50 and if necessary, on the 200 yard range, painting the indoor range, making sure the property is properly posted, trash pick-up along Porter Corners Road and general cleanup around the club. Members are strongly encouraged to help out as volunteer participation reduces the need for the club to hire out work and helps to keep dues reasonable.
Friday Night Fun Shoots Start June 1, 2018
SaraSpa will again hold the popular Friday Night Fun Shoots and Cookout every other Friday starting June 1 and continuing through August 24. This fun event is intended to be an opportunity for members and the general public to introduce young people to the shooting sports in a fun and safe environment. Kids have priority but adults can shoot too. Steel plate shooting is also available on the 200 yard range. See the Fun Shoot Flyer for details
2018 Guest Waivers Required
Each year, a completed and signed guest waiver is required for all guests and family members present on SaraSpa property. Waiver forms are located near the sign- in book. Waivers are good for the entire calendar year. Also, all guests other than members' spouses and children under 18 years of age are required to pay a guest fee. Members are responsible for assuring that waivers are completed and that guest fees are paid as well as assuring that guests follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Range Rules.
Post no Bills and Clean up
As renovation of the clubhouse interior nears completion members should take care to avoid damage to the walls and cabinets with gun boxes or cases. Posting of any material on the walls is strictly prohibited. There is a cork board in the hallway leading to the range for posting items for sale.Cardboard and targets that you hang should not be left on the range or placed in the trashcans. It should be carried out and placed in the dumpster located in the clubhouse parking lot.

Range ClosuresIn addition to regularly scheduled closures for recurring , activities such as IDPA, Bullseye, CCW Qualifiers and Women's Programs ranges are occasionally closed for club events. Following is a list of upcoming event related closures
Be sure to check the club calendar for a full lising of events and range closures.
In light of our growing membership and the subsequent increased use of the club ranges, members are reminded of the need to keep the club’s facilities in order. To support and provide a safe and clean environment for everyone it is imperative that all members and leagues leave the ranges in the order in which they found them. It is expected that all equipment be returned to its original space after use. For example, tables, archery butts, signs, and backstop foam. Failure to return the club’s facilities to an orderly condition after use will result in action by the Board of Directors against the specific members/leagues involved. Cardboard and targets that you hang should not be left on the range or placed in the trashcans. It should be carried out and placed in the dumpster located in the clubhouse parking lot.
